Chicago, IL – Feb 22th, 2019 - QuickLaunch, a leading AI and blockchain based Identity-as-a-service company launched its flagship identity platform at Oakwood University. The institution now leverages QuickLaunch Single Sign-On, Identity Provider, Password Manager, Multi-factor Authentication and User Self-Registration.

As a part of the phase 1 release, QuickLaunch Single Sign-On, Identity Provider, Password Manager and Multi-Factor Authentication have been rolled out in the institution.

QuickLaunch Federated Single Sign-On will help the users to access multiple applications including JICS®, D2L®, PaperCut®, Academic Works®, O365® (Azure) and Adobe® using protocols such as CPS, SAML2.0, WS-Fed, OpenID, OpenAM etc.

QuickLaunch Self-Service Password Manager will allow users to reset passwords on their own without the need to raise password reset requests to IT helpdesk. It will cut helpdesk costs, thereby boosting the draining productivity of users and IT helpdesk.

QuickLaunch Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will allow users to set at least one additional mode of authentication to verify their identity at the time of login or resetting their password, without relying on a single password.

QuickLaunch User Self-Registration will allow first time users to create their own password, eliminating the process of providing default passwords to new joinees.

"QuickLaunch is helping higher ed institutions like Oakwood University to streamline identity and access management within the institution. Our Single Sign-On software has helped the institutions to provide one-click secure access to all applications to their students. QuickLaunch Password Manager with MFA will help the institution to cut helpdesk costs significantly and use alternate factors to verify user identity", said Neeraj Kainth, CEO, QuickLaunch.
